Meet The Owners

  Rose & Dguerson (DJ)  were both born in Haiti and later migrated to the US seeking a better life and education. They have been married for eight years, have three beautiful children and Stella the dog. As corporate professionals, Rose is a pharmaceutical/biotech professional and Dj is an electrical engineer. Unplug & Unwind is their second business adventure together. Weddings & Events Galour Inc. is their first business adventure. A full service wedding and event design company that provides decor, floral design, luxury event furniture rentals and event space. 

​Unplug & Unwind started with Rose making candles in their kitchen. One evening her husband got curious, so she thought him the trade, thus Unplug & Unwind was born. At times even their children would join in on the fun. They have also expended their scented collection to add rooms sprays and reed diffusers.

Rose and Dguerson enjoys relaxing at home with their children whether it is a family movie night or games, they always have a candle lit to set the right mood. They also enjoy their quality time together with a glass of wine and of course a lavish aromatic candle to set the tone.
